APKS is the abbreviation of “Alorpoth Kollan Sangstha”. It is a non-political, non-profitable, non-sectarian, volunteer based social welfare and non-governmental development organization of Bangladesh. It started journey officially in 2014 to support the needy people through mitigating complications of widespread poverty, ignorance, hunger, ill-health, climate change, and unsafe-wellbeing. Those are apparent in landlessness, idleness, illiteracy, malnutrition and vulnerability to frequent natural disaster by the active initiative of native stakeholders and philanthropists with a view to alleviating poverty through empowerment, education and resource mobilization for improving their lifestyle and livelihood with innovative development strategies to lead the organization towards sustainability. The Organization aims to help disadvantaged people in 360° of aid support for gaining self-sufficiency and control over their lives, foster sustainable development, promote Education, Health, Food and Climate adaptation, prevent Trafficking, protect and preserve the Environment through Empowerment of the vulnerable people for developing the capacity of the underprivileged and marginal community to make them able to take part in the decision making process in the society. The organization is committed to protect people’s human rights and activities through public consultation, mass campaign and various kinds of innovative initiatives with the support of stakeholders. APKS is a Non-Profit Organization that has core value to support mankind through its charitable initiatives. We proudly proclaim that we have no political agenda and political motive with specific views but we stand for the people if their rights got violated. We are volunteer based charitable organization that believes in people’s welfare where no discrimination will be allowed among the people because of their class, tribe, origin, area, religion and gender etc. We believe in universal peace and we are trying to bring some changes in the planet. We create awareness among the people through our innovative activities to lead their lives with morality, religious harmony and truth. We are engaged with the influential community and personnel where religious leader, local representative and government stakeholders are included as well. We believe that we have the power inside to keep the earth safe and build a peaceful world through our kindness and good thinking.
